A MODEL DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS
The PeerSquared Model creates a sustainable and systematic peer tutoring program in your school, so 1-on-1, in-person peer tutoring provided by trained high school tutors can be available as a free resource for all students. Built to be futureproof, our online portal streamlines the tutoring experience for students while providing learning analytics for you and other stakeholders.

BENEFITS OF PEERSQUARED
SERVICES

TUTORING SCHEDULER
Forget about paper sign-in sheets and illegible feedbacks and notes from tutors. Need a tutor? Hop on to our online portal through your smartphone to request a tutor based on your needs and preferences for a 1-on-1, in-person tutoring session. During the booking process, students will be reminded to specify their questions and/or upload a picture of their homework. Tutors will be notified of a pending request via text and can check to see they are both available and actually know the content. Once they accept, both parties are all set and prepared for success!

TUTOR TRAINING
While many high school students may be academically qualified, there’s much more to being a tutor. That’s why we prepare your tutors with the skills and tools to be patient and understanding and able to motivate students in addition to knowing how to ask the right questions to encourage inquiry-based learning. Through this opportunity, tutors gain a lot more than just service hours for their college apps!

ANALYTICS & DASHBOARDS
From gathering tutoring insights to requesting additional sessions, our portal is an irreplaceable resource for all stakeholders.
Tutors can make notes for students to review at a later time
NHS sponsor can track earned service hours
Teachers/counselors can view student performance and engagement
Admins can monitor new trends uncovered through peer tutoring
Our online portal brings the school and community together through its well-designed dashboards.

ALL ABOUT PEERSQUARED
As high school students ourselves not too long ago, we experienced many frustrating nights working on homework with not help in reach. Now as college students, we aim to create a solution so high schoolers won’t continue to suffer the same fate.
Ever since we decided it was important to help schools offer peer tutoring, we’ve learned, and will continue to learn, the many challenging yet fulfilling elements of entrepreneurship.
Apr 2019: SEED SPOT’s 2-Day Launch Camp gave us a chance to draft our first business plan based on the real needs of high schools, and it solidified our identity as a social venture.
Aug 2019: Joined ASU’s Venture Devils entrepreneurship program to clarify our business and unique services.
Dec 2019: We were awarded substantial grant funding through Venture Devils’ Demo Day via the eSeed Challenge.
Jan 2020: PeerSquared, Inc. becomes a registered public benefit corporation aiming to improve the education and future success of K-12 students.
Feb 2020: Conduct research at high schools selected for our first pilot programs
We look forward to the results of our upcoming pilots in Arizona and hope many more schools will benefit from peer tutoring in the near future. Feel free to contact us using the message box at the bottom or just put in your contact info to stay tuned to our progress.
